Chair's Update - Campaign Events
Hello Saint Paul DFLers!
I want to give
you all a quick update on the campaign for
November 8th Election.
Volunteers
have been talking to voters on the phones at in
the community all summer. Our efforts to support
our DFL endorsed candidates
and get Democrats to vote on November 8th will be more important
than
ever. There was no primary election to narrow the field of school board
candidates
and this will be the first election using ranked choice voting in
the elections for City Council.
Please make some
time in your calendar to spend some time
with your friends talking to Saint Paul voters at their
doorsteps and on the
phone. The lack of a primary will also increase the importance of name
identification.
Please help us by hosting a coordinated DFL school board
lawnsign with the names of
our DFL endorsed team. (please email thesaintpauldfl@gmail.com
for a
lawnsign)
Here is a current list of planned dates that we will be
hitting the
streets, please join us!

We will also be talking to voters on the telephone.
Drop us a line
at the saintpauldfl@gmail.com
if you would like to
help with that effort.
Get Out the Vote efforts are extra important because
so
much of the media is focused on next year’s election. Please make sure to mark
your
calendars for Get Out the Vote Week activities starting Halloween weekend
and going through Election Day - November 8th.
In Solidarity,
Darren Tobolt
Saint Paul DFL,
Chair
