2007 Caucuses/Convention Schedule Announced
Saint Paul City DFL precinct caucuses are being held on Tuesday, March 6,. 2007, at 7:00 p.m. On the agenda is the adoption of resolutions and selection of delegates and alternates to the Ward Conventions. For anyone who cannot make it on Tuesday night, but would like to attend their Ward Convention, a sample proxy is availble on the DFL Documents page (link on menu to the left). Locations for the precinct caucuses are TBA, and will be posted here when they are available.
Ward conventions will take place between April 10, 2007 and May 10, 2007, depending on the Ward. Delegates and alternates selected at the precinct caucuses will vote on resolutions, select delegates and alternates to the City Convention, consider endorsements in City Council races, and elect Ward officers. Ward 4 is tenatively scheduled for Saturday, April 14, at 9:00 a.m. at Hancock Elementary. Ward 3 is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, April 22, at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Jr. High. All of the ward convention information will be available on the Caucuses & Conventions page (link on menu to the left).
The City Convention will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007, location TBA. Delegates and altenates from the Ward conventions will consider endorsements in the School Board races and vote on resolutions from the Wards. Look for additional information as it becomes available on both the Caucuses & Conventions and DFL Documents pages.
